Another newbie here, this time from way down in Southwest Virginia. Anybody here from the same area?
I am beginning my second attempt at home brewing. My first was in the late 90's and was a miserable flop. I sold all of my stuff after that.
Now, I have a home with much more space and more time to devote. I have read Palmer's book and expect my first kit to arrive on Monday from Austin Homebrew Supply. My wife likes darker beers so my first batch hopefully will be a drinkable dark ale.
I hope to start the brewing next weekend.
