Newbie Brewer in East TN

I was given a Brooklyn Brew Shop Kit ("A well made Tripel") by my sons last Christmas (2010) and just got around to attempting my very first brew two weeks ago (still in process). I have been reading the site a lot since beginning so I thought I would join to "pay-back" for the excellent wisdom provided. I hope to learn a lot from the forum.
