New to the forums & brewing, just wanted to say hi!

I found my way over here after being recommended from reddit's Homebrewing page.. I think I'm going to like it here!

I've been interested in craft beer for the past 5 years or so. I had some friends in college that passed on their love of good beer to me, and I've never looked back since! Lived in Athens for a year after graduating, and would frequent the Terrapin brewery there about once every couple of months. I would always take the brewery tour, and found myself asking more advanced questions each time I went. I've been toying around with the idea of opening up a brewery/restaurant/music venue for the last couple of years, but didn't actually put much thought into it.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago.. my girlfriend bought me a True Brew kit from a local homebrew supply store, and I'm anxiously awaiting my first brewing in a couple of days! Gonna start slow with a Cooper's Kit, but from reading around these forums and The Joy of Home Brewing, I'm already dreaming big.

Anyways, just wanted to say hey and introduce myself a little bit. Looking forward to swapping recipes and stories with y'all.
