Hi all! My husband and I are brand new home brewers and have found this site incredibly helpful so far! We just moved to Atlanta and found a great LHBS nearby, where we bought our first equipment and beer kit. We started with a Brewer's Best kit (Oktoberfest) to get our feet wet and learn a little. We had so much fun brewing yesterday and are so eager to taste it. We plan to leave it in the first fermenter for 2 weeks, then move it to a carboy fir a couple weeks before bottling. We've decided to do another kit in 2 weeks so we have 2 going at once. We're addicted already and love reading all the tips and tricks this site offers! We're limited on our space and aren't allowed to have a propane stand to do all grain, so we'll be sticking to extracts and partial mashes for now. Our Oktoberfest had some grains, and it was fun steeping them!

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself! We're looking forward to reading more!

Welcome from E. Roswell! If you're interested in local get togethers with fellow homebrewers check out my link to inhbc.org. We are having a group brew this Sunday in Roswell (near Crabapple) if you are interested. :mug:

Awesome!! I will have to check it out. Thanks!

My wife nulawlady will be unable to attend but I just signed up for the inhbc.org website and I would like to attend the group brew to check things out.
