Hey all! my name is nick, and some friends and i have caught the brewing bug after my buddy got a homebrew kit for christmas. weve been making the northern brewer extract kits, trying to figure out the ins and outs before stepping up to designing our own recipes. weve already brewed 4 kits, and got to drink our first brew (the caribou slobber) over the weekend. im proud to say we didnt mess it up! so any advice on essential tips, techniques, or equipment for new brewers is always appreciated. look forward to talking to everyone!

Welcome fellow New Englander!!! Biggest tip I could give and hardly follow myself but should...keep good notes while you brew and tasting notes afterward. If you finally make that great beer, the one you have always dreamed of making...you'd want to make it again and you will need those notes!:mug:
