Is the Apfelwein your first attempt at fermenting something? What kinds of beer do you like?

Hi,Richbrewer.I started brewing '82.Just a plastic mail order bucket,a can of hopped malt and plain label yeast. It was ok,but i'll drink almost anything. I'm a on again off again type. Bought a couple of Papazian's books,changed my ingredients and methods. Made alot better beer I don't have a favorite style.I like to just like to put some malt,hops and yeast togather and see what happens. I try to follow godfather Papazian's rule RDWHAHB. Right now i'vgot a hefe,AHS Warrior IPA and a haus IPA.My next is Edwort apfelwein. While it making happy,happy i'm going to try AG.9lb 2row,1lb crystal 40l,6oz carapils,8oz caramunich,1oz nugget,1oz liberty,see what happens I'm yeast ranching wlp007 dry english,wlp002 english,but I might go dry yeast until I figure it out.
