New member from Toronto(ish)

Hi all,

My name is Adam and I've gotten into homebrewing over the past couple of months.
Signed up here to gather info and advice, and see what other brewers are up to.

I started with a Mr. Beer LBK, and have since gotten a couple of Ale Pails along with other various paraphernalia.

This hobby seems to escalate quickly!
My girlfriend is starting to get concerned about the amount of time and energy I'm putting into this, which can only mean I'm on the right track

So far I've brewed 3 beers, and have gotten to taste one of them (not bad, but has a few off-flavours I need to diagnose...)

My brews so far:
#1: Mr. Beer Diablo IPA (in the fridge)
#2: Mr. Beer Amber Ale (nearing ready to bottle)
#3: Coopers Draught (in the primary)
#4: Northwest IPA (to be brewed when my LBK is free)

Welcome to the board! Make a cider that will make her happy! heh Well at least that worked for my wife. Looks like you have a good start going!

Not a bad idea, actually! She's not a beer drinker, but she'd likely go for cider

Welcome Adam! I'm from the area too (Whitby), and would suggest you check out "GTA Brews" on facebook and "Are You An SOB?" (Southern Ontario Brewer) forums for local info. Of course HBT is always the biggest resource for homebrewing info I rely on, but it's nice to get the local info as well.
