Hey this is Josh better known as Mr. Morbid. I'm thinking about getting into home brewing. A friend of mine on facebook mentioned this forum so I thought I'd check things out.
 
Hey Josh, where in MI are you? I live in Berkley. I bought all of my equipment from Wine Barrel Plus, in Livonia. The guy there was pretty helpful and they seemed to have a good selection (I was a bit overwhelmed, it being the first time I was shopping for this stuff.) I read a few books before going in there so I had a very basic idea of what to look for, and they helped with the rest. I got ingredients from Kuhnhenn Brewery for my 2nd batch, and like I said in my other post, good selection, horrible customer service.
 
Welcome! This is a great hobby and this site is probably the best resource on the net. Not sure where you area from but Adventures in HomeBrewing is a home brew shop in Taylor. They are a great shop with tons of selection. The staff there are always helpful.
