So I finally built my Sanyo 4912 kegerator this weekend after months of procrastination. Everything seems to have gone well but there was a leak in the faucet from where the (excuse my lack of kegging terminology) output tube plugs into the faucet assembly.

I jammed it into the assembly pretty well and it doesnt seem to leak now. Anyone have any advice on this? I don't think teflon tape will do anything since its already impossibly snug.

All in all, I'm pleased with the build and excited about the kegerator being a new addition to the family.

Do you have some kind of worm clamp or hose clamp over it? If not it would snug it up a bit. Congratulations on the kegerator!

The tube is a small diameter metal pipe, similar to a dip tube and it is inserted into the faucet. A hose then connects to that (and it has a hose clamp and doesn't leak).

The 2nd faucet I have has that tube welded into a fitting.

I bet pictures would help :)

Basically, this screws into the faucet assembly. The nut is pushed down over the tube as far as I could get it. It was leaking out around this connection.
