Hello,
New guy here, just started brewing my own beer last Sunday. Have found this site to be very helpful so far. I was a little worried about a couple of things that happened to my very first beer and after reading all the threads here about don't worry and Papazion's book I just closed my eyes and rode it out.
Good news. I took a hydro reading last night and found the beer to be pretty good even at 70 degrees. So I guess the little floaty things and a little bit of hot fermentation did not kill my beer after all.![Mug :mug: :mug:](https://cdn.homebrewtalk.com/smilies/sdrinking-100-154.gif)
Tonight I will be starting my second batch of fermented beverage this time in the form of a cider. The guys at safeway look at you really funny when you buy 4 gallons of apple juice and 10 cans of concentrate.
