New guy from South Jersey

Tomorrow I'm picking up a whole bunch of homebrewing gear from a guy on craigslist. Never brewed before but certainly love the finished product. Ill be going to my LHBS on Saturday to get the ingredients for my first brew on Sunday. Hopefully all goes well.

Backroads take me home thru Atco from West Creek (Manahawkin). You been to "Keg & Barrel" in Berlin Farmers market? Gonna hit them up tomorrow on way home, need more CO2.

Backroads take me home thru Atco from West Creek (Manahawkin). You been to "Keg & Barrel" in Berlin Farmers market? Gonna hit them up tomorrow on way home, need more CO2.

Oh yeah, I'm less than five minutes from the raceway and with the just right conditions I can hear the races going on.

As for Keg & Barrel, I love them there. It's nice having someone so close that it's just a five minute drive.

Cool thing is a few guys I work with live in my area so we get together and do big brews fests. Nothing like three propane burners going. It's nice too because we help each other out.

Im from Manahawkin but i go to school at Stockton so im close to Tap It! In little egg harbor city. Picked up my gear last night so im really excited to start brewing.

Just brewed my first batch myself last week- bottling next Friday.

@Roadking- If you're in the south Jersey area the Keg and Barrel (I think that's what it's called) sells anything you'd need in the Berlin Mart.

That really cool to hear. My wife is interested in making wine (not much interest in the beer except drinking it). Stopping by today to pick up rhizomes from them.
