G`day all!

I realise that the is the electric brewery forum however in Australia we generally have only a 10amp 240v supply which makes a gas system a more viable choice for larger volumes.

I thought I would show you all my new 120 litre brew rig which I have been working on for the last few months and has the following features:

- Commercial gas instantaneous boiler

- Stand made from 50mm (2") galvanised fencing posts

- closed system heat exchange coil running on a flow and return system for the maintaining the mash tun temperature

-instantaneous strike water quick flow valve set to any desirable temperature

-Mash circulating system which draws from the base of the mash tun then discharges over the grain via the sprinkler sparge line

- Instantaneous Continuous sparging system

- Automatic gas bottle changeover valve

- Chugger pump and counter flow chiller

- 130000 BTU gas burner for the boil

I still need to tweek the system however preliminary testing seems very positive. The temperature within the mash tun maintains a 0.4 degree differential.

I am looking for a product to thermally insulate the mash tun...any ideas would be appreciated.
