Thought I'd introduce myself. Been lurking around the forums a bit especially when I'm unsure of some things. Started brewing with extract/specialty grains kits a little over a year ago. Only did a couple extract brews and decided with some encouragement from my brother in law to jump to all grain. Just did my first all grain batch a Raspberry Wheat beer and am currently waiting with it in secondary to bottle! Hopefully turns out well really made it so my wife can enjoy my hobby as well!

I too hope it turns out well for you both...welcome to the obsession! I'm originally from Tucson (

welcome to the crew. funny, i just brewed a raspberry (jalapeno) wheat beer.
where do you purchase your brewing supplies?

For sure I haven't been to any breweries really in Tucson. Haven't spent much time there actually. Man I've been wanting to incorporate some heat so that jalapeño raspberry would have been a great idea. I'll keep that in mind for next time. I do a good amount of online shopping. Bought a lot of stuff from northern brewer. And have bought some stuff from brew your own brew in gilbert. Not too sure of many other brew shops.

Welcome from the Rim country, AZ! If you're looking for a LHBS the one in Tempe..Brewers Connection ships state wide for free. I too buy online but have lately been buying ingredients from BC and they get it from Tempe to Payson usually by the next day..!

I've been in the shop a couple of times and it is well stocked... not dusty and seems to have a lot of traffic. I have bought bulk LME, malt, yeast and hops from them and they were all fresh. The staff were knowledgeable as well. As I switch to all grain eBIAB (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=582004) I hope to get most of my malts from That Brewery in Pine but will continue to get speaciality grains from BC in Tempe.

Again, welcome!
