Good morning!
Been lurking the site for some time but as I have just bucketed my first batch of brew this weekend I thought I'd join in on the fun. Looking forward to learning even more!


First brew was a brewer's best weizen extract kit using one of their equipment kits augmented with a couple of pieces of equipment I already had. It's bubbling away in the primary now so hopefully I'll have results to post in a few weeks!

Good choice.. That was my first brew as well, Not a brewer's best kit though, but they're good.. Just popped one open last night.. was good and carbonated and tasted decent to just be in the bottle 3 days.. and ferment only 8 in the primary... ;0) Welcome to the forum... Cheers...

Well after its required time in the primary and some polishing in the secondary for a week and a day, my brew was bottled yesterday. A sample showed great color and slightly hazy clarity (it is a weizen after all) and the taste is smooth and just a touch hoppier than I'm used to in most weizens, but pleasantly so! Can't wait for this stuff to carbonate do I can have the tasting party!

Now...what to brew next?!
