Here's a question....
When to pitch the yeast?
Pitch it before coming home, the risk (theoretical, perhaps) is that we have splashing beer, aeration, after the yeast have maybe started fermenting.
Pitch it after getting home, we risk infection in the meantime.
Is it OK to pitch yeast, THEN have the beer get sloshed around in the back of the truck/Elm?
