New co2 Tank hydro sticker

I just purchased my first co2 tank and noticed it has no hydro sticker.

Will I need to get it inspected before it gets filled? Or is there a way to verify it is a new tank?

I don't see anywhere on the tank itself that would imply when it was made.

The date should be stamped into the top of the tank.

I have an old 20 pound tank that was first stamped in 1945. There's dates all over the one side of it. They use number stamps and hammer it into the tank so it's embedded in the metal. The format is month-year so if I just got one hydro tested this month it would be 4-15
