New cider yeast?

This may not be the best place/post... but i thought of my favorite thrifty jolly home brewer @bracconiere when i saw this...

I am not a cider/wine maker, so maybe this is old news. But 500g of up to 16% cider yeast... for $38!?! Seems like a good deal... they say 8 grams is good for 5 gallons....

500g for wine yeast at $38 is normal....but this is " Yeast Type: Bayanus "

and i've recntly found out that i might be able to find cervasea(sp?) wine yeast for the same price...thanks to another member!

in fact about to pull the trigger on this? what do you think, ? am i clown?

here it is and on the brick it says it's cervasiea....i'm buying it....the bayanus doesn't really agree with my 1.000 FG adding gluco...not the body i'm used to! after about 5-6 repitches it comes back, but with a 500g brick, hard not to use fresh every time! at least when it's not $$$$$!

I have no knowldge about wine yeasts... but for 500g at $38 what a deal!!
