Got this for a steal on Amazon. $48.00 with free shipping (Prime). She is a GORGEOUS SS chiller.

Yea about that...Wow... that's a lot of SS. Just remember not to grab the outflow tube early on... don't ask me how I know this.
Yea sure is. Search NYBrewSupply on Amazon$48?!? Damn nice find, is that 3/8”x50’?
Awesome. Yea it's a steal and the quality is on point. Took 2.5 gals from boiling to 70 degrees in about 7 minutes. Did you purchase the 3/8”x50'?I just ordered one. I was going to do a copper diy but price is too good to pass up!
This is the last item needed to complete my all grain setup!
There's only 2 things I will do to modify this in the future. Compression fittings with quick disconnects on the supply and return arms, and upgrade the hose to high temp silicone.Yeah 3/8” by 50’ it was $55 & won’t arrive till the 5th, but still a great value! I’d spend that much in copper for a DIY project.
With ya on the fittings, but why the silicone? There's only 2 things I will do to modify this in the future. Compression fittings with quick disconnects on the supply and return arms, and upgrade the hose to high temp silicone.
Same here, thanks OP.Thanks for the heads up! Ordered mine today.
Personal preference I guess? The clear plastic hose is quite a bit more stiff - especially the cold water in side...easier to coil up when storing, and in my experience the plastic hose doesn't always seal the best on the SS tubing. That, and I find the silicone hose from brewhardware.com to be the easiest for slipping it over the cam lock barb I will be using. They sell really high quality high temp silicone hose. With ya on the fittings, but why the silicone?
You're welcome [emoji106]Same here, thanks OP.
Not first on my list of things I want, and not even on the things I need list, but this is too good to pass up.
