Hey Guys, been a while since I posted. Just wanted to update you guys. The porter that I brewed, we finally broke it out last weekend. It was absolutely delicious.
This last Tuesday, me and my buddy started brewing our Oktoberfest. And let me tell you, it looks amazing. We are going to let it ferment for 2 weeks, then put it in a secondary for another 2 weeks. Then we will bottle after that.
This weekend we will be brewing an Irish Stout.
Me and my buddy are going to try to start up a brewery. So far we have bought 3 Kegs, a grinder, a 20 lb CO2 tank and some other odds and ends. We will cut the tops of the kegs off to use to brew. We are also in the process of making a frame to mount our burners to brew. I will try to post pics when we start doing this.
Our brewing company name that we came up with is Angry Mick's Brewery. Called my porter "Angry Mick's Moose Knuckle". I thought it was very good and all the people we handed the beer to also thought the same.
We will keep you up to date on how we are doing. :rockin:
