Hey folks,

I have heard my brother in law talk non stop about home brewing for the last 6 years. The bottling part always turned me off, but I do enjoy a nice micro brew or home brew. So about a week ago a buddy called me up and asked if I wanted to brew a double batch together and he could show me the ropes. So I bought some ingredients from a local homebrew store Homebrew USA and I am patiently waiting for the second week of brewing to take place. I enjoyed brewing so much that I wanted to get into it myself. I found a decent set up on Craigslist and I am now a proud owner of a nice kegarator set up. I got just about everything I needed to brew for under $600.

I am currently trying to figure out if the regulators on the CO2 bottle are working correctly. I will post up some questions in the appropriate forum.

Anyways, I hope to learn from you all and hopefully someday I can contribute to the knowledge being shared.

welcome to brewing. to make sure the regulator is working right, if you ask us, we'll need to know the psi the reg is set at, the length of the co2 hose going from reg to keg, and the internal diameter of the hose. we'll be glad to help if you can tell us that
