Hey there guys! I'm Sean and I have a beer problem. I love it so much that I had to try and make it myself. So far somewhat unsuccessfully. I hope to brew my quota of 200 gallons a year between my wife and I. So when you see those threads where some moron has some questions about his ruined batch, that's me.

Welcome. I'm a fairly new member also, right up the road in Orangeburg. Good luck with your brews.

Hey there. i was just wondering where you get your supplies and ingredients. I have so far ordered mine from Midwest, and Northern Brewer

I order specialty grains from Midwest, my hops are by the pound from hops direct, and for base malt, I get them from group buys whenever possible.

I order from Rebel Brewer. They get the order right the first time and it gets here in a couple days. For some things I order from Northern Brewer. There used to be a guy who did group buys/sell bulk grains, but his supplier won't ship to him anymore since he doesn't have a business address. With that being said I've heard that Holy City might start selling some supplies. I haven't verified that yet.

Welcome to another South Carolinian!

So far I've dealt with Midwest Supplies and A guy from Craigslist.

Don't overlook apexbrewwares.com! Jeremy always ships for $7.99, answers the phone and emails right away, and his stuff is all top notch. I run Drunken Emu Brewery and we place large orders with Apex every month. None of the other companies have been able to match him for my orders.

Welcome!

It would be awesome if Holy City would start selling some ingredients. I've heard that it's a good idea to get in with the local breweries and try to score some yeast free of charge.
