Hey everybody, new guy here, checking in from NE Ohio. I've been lurking around for a few weeks doing research, figured it was time to register.

My first batch (an Irish Stout) went into the bucket Sunday afternoon. I'll hopefully be moving it to secondary this weekend to open the fermenter for batch number two. Got to get as many batches in while SWMBO is still intrigued by the process ;)

Howdy! I'm in NE Ohio myself. Don't rack to secondary till you've tested that it's at a stable FG. You always want the ferment to be finished before racking over. Hope you both enjoy the process of home brewing. My wife liked my ales so much, she's going to be starting her 3rd batch soon. :tank:

My biggest problem with this hobby is going to be my complete and utter lack of patience ;)

So is anyone from around the toledo area? I just moved to toledo about 6 months ago and I just made my first batch in over two years and I'm looking for some brewing friends
