Hi homebrewtalkers,
Hein here, brewer from Germany. I stumbled across your forum trying to find out if Lallemand Diamond is the 34/70 strain. On a German forum I then found a thread from 2019 that quoted a Lallemand representative who confirmed it is (I wasn't there, of course...). So I thought, I might as well offer my help here in case anybody needs a translation or help researching something German by a native speaker. Prost, Hein

Finally. .. I am getting around to brewing a Marzen. No clue as this is my first. I looked at a bunch of recipes on BrewFather and came up with this, based on my current grain inventory.

6 g batch size.
Brewzilla 100 L with BIAB

6 lb Carolina Malt House Pilsner 1.8 L
3 lb 3 oz melanoidan 31 L
1 lb 14 oz flaked barley
1 lb 10 oz Light Munich 6.2 L
12 oz Carapils 2 L
6 oz Biscuit 28 L

2 packs 34/70, fermenting in a 10 g corny over 2 weeks. Add 10 psi after 4-5 days of blowoff into ball jar.

Hops
Hallertau Mittelfruh
1 oz 60 min
0.6 oz 30 min
