New Brewer from Frederick, MD

Hey everyone,

Ive been lurking around following these forums for a few months now. I'm from Frederick, MD. For those who are unaware that is the home of the Flying Dog Brewery (love my flying dog). Im 24 and I love brewing awesome beer. I started brewing back in March I think it was, extract obviously, but my collection of brewing equipment and knowledge has been growing over the past few months by reading a few books and the forums. I should be making the switch to all-grain here shortly as I am getting quite comfortable with the process and want to start creating my own brew. Ive got 6 batches under my belt and working on a 7th friday

I must say it is my favorite past time over anything else.

Anyway, if any other Frederick locals are around and are part of any clubs give me a shout. Glad to be a part of the forum.

welcome! frederick is a good place to be brewer. you've got flying dog brewery, and also the flying barrel for supplies. i love that place.

Thanks all, and im well aware of Flying Barrel, awesome place, free range picking and the people are very helpful. I have been frequenting that place more and more!
