Hey Everyone-

I just thought I would take a minute to post my first thread. As stated in the post title, I am new to the brewing world and just kegged my first batch of beer (Hoppiness Is An IPA - Brewing Classic Styles). I couldn't have had a better experience during the brewing process and am very pleased with the results. With that being said, I would not have been able to get to this point without all of the information that I came across on this site, and I owe several of you my gratitude. My empty bottle collection, I have over 300 bottles ... no kegs so I bottle everything. Lot's of reasons to drink Michigan beers ... Bell's and Founders and New Holland and Arcadia and Mount Pleasant, and Shorts, Michigan Brewing Co. just to start. There are so many great Michigan beers and so little time to drink them... If I buy beer it is normally Michigan beer ...

I definitely agree with you on drinking MI beers. Lately I've been partial to Short's, Founders, BARTS (formerly Lumber Barons in Bay City), and of course my first homebrew!
