Hi People .
just bottled some plum homemade wine from a kit and found it seemed to be weak ...ie not very alcholic...
I made some strewberry wine from a kit as well about a month ago and noticed it tasted better the longer i left it in shed. does the alcholic content react after being bottled ??? or am i doing somthing wrong .followed kit to instructions .:mug: :mug: please help newbie stupid.!

No, once you have bottled a still wine, there will be no change in the alcohol content. Beers (ciders, sparkling wines) increase very slightly in the bottle. And kits tend to be on the weak side to keep costs down. But, when making wines, you can use table sugar or grape juice concentrates to increase the ABV. Alternately, if you kit contained juice concentrate, just use less water.
