Hey there from San Diego, CA. Name's Jeremey, and I forgot how much I love a good HB. Did a LOT of HB'ing with my Dad when I was in high school, before I joined the Navy. Haven't touched the stuff from 2000-2011, until a friend mentioned going up to the Stone Brewery for a tour. The first time I smelled the wort (and saw 5-gal carboys in their hop fridge), it was game on.
Went over to HomeBrewMart and picked up a starter kit and I've managed to get a Pale Ale done (went light on the bottling sugar, so it's still a little flat after about 3 weeks), and I just got an ESB bottled, so I'm looking forward to that one even more.
I'm here for getting some different techniques down, doing a lot of partial mashing until I get some experience, and gleaning any info I can from the better brewers here. Thanks for the site, info, and answers -
