I'm doing a christmas six pack for a bunch of friends and family. I had planned on doing 6 different beers, but time ran a little faster than I thought. My reese's stout is nowhere near ready to go out, so rather than risk people drinking underconditioned beer, I'm going to include 2 of my Strawberry Kiwi's with it.

Now, I just kegged the kiwi on the 13th, but I was intending on bottling today. It's fully carbonated, but the beer is still mega cloudy and needs time to clear. I plan on bottling with my beergun, but I've never used it to bottle a beer this new, so I'm not sure how the bottles will turn out after a few weeks.

So my question: Should I bottle and tell people to wait a few weeks until it clears, or change the 6 pack to a 4 pack?

I've done that with gift bottles. And since I tend to only really give my beers as gifts to folks who appreciate it, they have listened and waited.

In fact if you look at my bottle tags, I do say when to open the bottles and why. I don't know if you can see the info in red on those pics.

Awesome Idea. If you have 4-packs, that would be cool. (DO YOU????)

I would not hesitate to give cloudy. Just tell them it is supposed to be that way, or tell them to wait.

Thanks for the templates Revvy. I think I've seen those around the forums. I do labels for all of my xmas six packs, so I may just use those hangers to warn people not to drink it right away. I usually only give my beer to people who enjoy good beer (anyone who pours their beer in a glass qualifies to get my beer), but this year I'm trying to get a larger number of my friends into drinking better stuff.

I'm even giving out custom made zipper bottle coozies with all of my six packs. Although...after I made them, I realized people would be pouring my beer in a glass, so it defeats the purpose of a coozie.

Looks like I'll bottle tonight. Thanks for the input guys.
