I have 5 gallons of unpasturized cider, 3 pounds of local honey and a package of champange yeast. I had a recipe that called for these ingredients and now I can't find it. Anyone have a recipe without any additives. It's my first try at a hard cider.

There are plenty if you go to the recipe menu. I would forget the champagne yeast unless you like it DRY. I'd try safale O4 or Nottingham but it is your taste that decides . Good Luck

put your 5 gallons into a fermentor, add the honey (if ya want to . . . I wouldnt)
add 1 package of wyeast 4766 or what ever yeast you personally like
wait 3 months

cider is about as simple as it gets
