Im completely new to this so I dont know if this is looking right I started it at probably 12:00 yesterday.

Looks like maybe your yeast is starting to get to work? Do you see activity if looking at it eye level?

What are we looking at?
Yeast used?
Ambient temp?
Is it usually covered, or do you have it exposed to that much light all the time?
 
Its apple juice “in one gallon jug with airlock” with “picture provided of yeast” should be 1.5 grams that was added. Temp should be 70 degrees. Absolutely no light its in a Cabinet.

I thought the stuff forming on top looked weird but im pretty ignorant on the subject.

I do see activity it bubbles upwards.
