My MLT and HLT are warping

Just a forewarning to anyone using the Home Depot style coolers, I have 2 10 gallon coolers I use for my HLT and MLT. The HLT is starting to warp from the 169 degree sparge water. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but I guess it gives me more of a reason to justify upgrading the equipment.

It's just the inside shell expanding and having nowhere to go. It eventually stops getting worse.

Happened to mine, though it's only a very small reduction in capacity, and I have seen no ill effects.

I've got a little ripple in the interior of mine, but it appears to be pretty stable.

What brand is the Home D cooler?

I've dumped 180*F water in mine this winter with no problems whatsoever.

It's the orange Rubbermaid you see so often.

yea, mine did the same thing, the home depot coolers are cheaper than the high quality rubbermaid ones that cost 2 times as much.
