Haven't used it myself, but have heard that Envirotex (http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_...Name=Kits&psid=FROOGLE&sid=KDx20070926x00003a) is really simple to use and would give your copper a good protective finish.

Looking forward to getting the finish done so I can put it in to use.

That looks FANTASTIC.
Planning on staining the wood, or leaving it natural? Can you show what the back looks like now? Also, a pic with the keezer open? Do the hinges support your top ok?
That looks like something someone would go out and buy, and spend a LOT on.
Congrats. Beautiful addition.
Wow, turned out great! Let me know how the copper holds up. I may need to figure out a way to put it on mine. Again, looks great!
Really admire your design.
Do you have any cooling for the coffin? And how's that copper holding up?
Dude, looks great. I'm working on my version now. I was wondering a couple of things. What did you use for insulation in the tower and where did you get it. Also, how did you connect the counter top to the lid of the freezer?
Thanks.
I was actually looking at this same freezer (Sunbeam SBCF7WBX) at Menards and am going to try and pick it up tomorrow since it is on sale right now. I was just curious if the bottom portion would be able to hold 4 corny kegs? I have seen a lot of posts for this unicorn Magic Chef 7.2 freezer that I don't think exists in 2010 anymore.
