Here's my garbagerator build.
A friend of mine is having a spring party and asked me (and a few others) to brew a batch for it. I didn't want to set my keg and tank out to warm up as people enjoyed it, hence the garbagerator build. I'll be hauling it to the party, loading with kegs adding ice and sitting back to enjoy. After the party, I have "other plans" so I will add pics as I go.
I grabbed the particle board from the dumpster behind the wood shop in our building so I may need to swap out the smaller piece for something taller. But, I wanted a fairly industrial look anyway, so it works.
I also have installed a drain between the wheels so this thing doesn't weigh 3400 lbs when the ice melts.
The plan:
the future I will be making a four sided box (with a floor) out of the 2" insulation board that I have laying around that this will sit in. I will probably glue some 1/4" plywood to the outside for impact resistance and aesthetics. I will then punch two 4" holes in the side of my garage fridge and matching holes in the insulation box and garbage can. I'm going to put one of THESE pushing cold air into the can and one pushing "warm" air back into the fridge.
