I know you are all biting your nails waiting for an update on my first batch :cross: so here it is. I'm getting ready to Keg or bottle my first batch. It's an autumn amber ale from midwest supplies. The OG was 1.042 and the FG is 1.014. The aim is 1.010-1.012. I assume that the .002 isn't going to affect the finished product since it's so darned close. I tasted it (I was very hesitant to because I'm terrified I'm going to taste vomit from an infection!) and it has a very good flavor with a big bite from the hops. It's hard to get a real indication of the flavor since it's flat and warm. If my thief sized taste is any indication, this should be a very good beer. If I keg this, I'll be prepping it for drink tomorrow. It may wind up being too green but only a taste test will tell!
