I brewed my first batch today - a nut brown extract with spec. grains. A few hours later - it's bubbling away! Thanks to everyone on this forum. It's such a great resource for noobs.

Now the impatient waiting begins...

Yea this place has helped me immensely. I just brewed my recipe Tuesday and can't wait for it to be done already. However, My O'Flannagains brew should be ready to keg real soon. I'm excited and nervous about my Gluten-Free recipe. It's been a few weeks in Primary, but I'm probably going to give it a few weeks in secondary, as it was still bubbling last week and looked like light brown crap water (it's at my friends house down the street). Hopefully it at least tastes good, that's more important than looks.

I just brewed my first batch ever 9 days ago. This forum has been a great resource since right as that process started. Mine too bubbled like mad for about 48 hours then totally stopped. My gravity readings are stuck at 1.014 but I'm just waiting it out. Keep us posted on yours!

Congrats on your first brew!

The brewing is the easy part, it's the waiting game on the first batch that is the hardest part.
