Thought I'd share pics of my bag-draining set up.
I wanted to do full batch boils outside but didn't have an overhang to rig a pulley up to. I also didn't have a ladder big enough. I was trying to come up with a system that I could use that also wouldn't take up space when I wasn't brewing. I've worked in TV production and photography studios for decades and it occurred to me that I had 2 heavy duty light stands that I didn't use anymore. They were originally designed for holding up a backdrop in a photo studio. I spent about 20 bucks at Home Depot and came up with this rig. I tested it and it holds 35 pounds without a problem.
Best part is it all folds up and fits in a case in my closet.
