Got my start in a winery working in the cellar, this gave me the basics on homebrewing (with a normal kit) and that got me going from kits to the basic brewing I am at today. I'm working on my 5th batch right now, along with a batch of mead, and within the month I plan to add 2-3 more batches of beer to my fermenting collection. So I decided the hell with it, and jump onto a nice forum!
