I can't help but want to proudly show off my beer, so here's a couple pictures of my second brew: Nutbrown Ale.
This was a recipe kit from my LHBS that I initially thought was too heavily hopped, but turned out beautifully balanced. I'm really happy with the head retention and lacing on this one too, as my first brew lacked both.
The taste is a nicely balanced sweet/bitter (more sweet) with an aftertaste of hop. The aroma contains nice hop notes too, due to a 2 min addition. Dark notes of caramel and nuttiness round this ale out.
