My 2 Legged Hop Spider

Thanks to this board I made my own hop spider but simplified it with a length of 1/4" copper tubing I had laying around. I brewed a Dogfish Head 60 min IPA clone this past weekend and it worked great.

I'm not sure if I needed to do this, but I kept lifting it up a little bit to get the hops to submerge better. I put about 5 marbles in the bag for weight.

Thanks again for my new favorite brewing gadget, which I didn't even know existed until a month ago.

I do it the same way - piece of 1/2" copper through the middle.
