heres my recipie for Irish Stout, i call it Oxtail Brew. i came up with earlier this year around st patricks day but didnt get to make until late April. it turned out real good and since its getting close to that time of year again i thought i'd share:
for one gallon
1 lb 2 row
.4 lb flaked barley
.2 lb chocolate
.2 lb crystal 120
.1 lb roasted barley
.15 oz east kent golding at 60
.15 oz east kent golding at 30
.15 oz east kent golding at 15
half packet s-33 yeast
for five gallon:
5 lb 2 row
2 lb flaked barley
1 lb chocolate
1 lb crystal 120
.5 lb roasted barley
.75 oz east kent golding at 60
.75 oz east kent golding at 30
.75 oz east kent golding at 15
one packet s-33 yeast
for one gallon
