Hello guys,

I have a recipe that calls for 1.8kg of Mountmellick light malt syrup.. I couldn't find this anywhere.. Is it a liquid malt extract, or is a malt "syrup" something different? It is from the CloneBrews book.

Thanks and sorry for my "noobness" ;)

Couldn't find this anywhere that can ship to Canada.. Can I substitute with another extract?

Thanks

You can sub any good light malt extract. A UK product would be the first choice instead of Mountmellick but US or Australian would work. A dry extract is fine to use just use about 15% less by weight to account for the water content in LME.
