I recently brewed the Pliny kit from Morebeer a few days ago. I didn't realize I needed to boil only the hops for the first 30 minutes so I ended up boiling the malt for 90 minutes. Is this going to hurt the beer?

Right now I have it in a fermentation chamber at 67 F and used wlp0001 yeast.

its my understanding that it will be fine...just slightly darker then it would have been without waiting to add the DME.

Yeah, youll get a bit more caramelization flavors, slightly higher abv, and maybe 3-4 less bottles due to evaporation

A lot of beer styles are boiled for 90 or even 120 minutes to get a lot of maillard flavors. Irish ales and barleywines do that I think. Maybe Belgian quads too
