I'm have a beer that has been bulk aging in a secondary with oak for several weeks now. I've decided that I'm going to keg this beer and naturally carbonate it. My question is, do you think that I would need to repitch some yeast for carbonating the beer because it's been sitting for so long?

No. I've naturally carbed a batch of apfelwien that sat in the carboy for 4 months. If you are worried, suck a small amount of yeast off the bottom when racking.

No need for more yeast. a few weeks is nothing...there's still plenty of yeast left to carbonate.

Thanks guys...this beer will probably be in secondary for about another month...that would be about a month and a half total before I carbonate it. Thanks for the opinions
