Mold???

Hey guys, only on my second batch so far but this whole "is it mold?" Thing is tough! I've seen lots of photos of white and blue fuzzy mold which would be easy to pick out, but what about these small dots? They appeared when the new scoby first started forming and it's been 2 weeks and they haven't changed in shape or size

I've never seen anything like that before...KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!

Kidding, I'd just trim them out of the scoby and then just keep an eye on it. Smell will be a big indicator of problems.

Those spots look a bit funny and suspicious, but it's hard to tell from the picture what they actually are...
