Mold in beer

I have been working a lot, so I left my beer in the fermentor 14 days. I took the lid off and there was a white film in the top of it. Is this mold?? It is an English bitter from coopers with 5 pounds of crystal 20.

What kind of white film? Is it foamy or is it shiny and transparent? Is there an off odor or taste?

Does it look like a pellicle? There is a thread on here with a photo collection, if you do a quick search.

I think it was dead yeast. It was a white film on the beer. I tasted it and it was fine.
