So, i was reading a little about growing hops in planters. I'm planning on buying a house in a year or so, but might not have it before this march. I'd like to start growing Hops this season.

Quesiton: Can i build a wooden planter box, or get a terracotta pot and start raising my plant, then transplant it when i do get my own place?

I'd be keeping the plant at my brothers place for now. Would the plant react OK to being moved in the pot?

Growing hops in a container will work for the first year or so- as long as your container is big enough- should hold at least 3 cuft of soil or you'll be watering twice a day :)
It's kinda like trying to keep a pony in an apartment . . .
