I plan on running CPVC as a manifold in my cooler. I picked up some 3/4 ID (inner diameter) pipe. They also had 1/2 pipe. Does it make a difference what size I use? It only took me a few months and I already caught the all grain bug damn is this an addicting hobby.

thanks for all the help!!!

my cooler MLT used a screen from a SS tiolete supply line. But if you were to make a manifold for sparging i'm sure the diamiter wouldn't be too big an issue between 1/2" and 3/4" i would say use what will work with you bulkhead drain the best as far as pipe size to avoid any headaches you may incounter when mating the manifold to the drain.

I went with 1/2". I did this so that I could make my slits smaller, meaning I wouldn't lose siphon as soon, (slit tops closer to the cooler bottom....). IMHO, 3/4" is overkill.
