Minor incident

I brewed a Black IPA ( 4/18 ) and airlock activity slowed and temp dropped yesterday so I popped the airlock out of the grommet to take a look at what was inside and when I did some Star-San water dripped into the beer. I failed to look for anything prior to doing this and I guess during active fermentation the star-san bubbled out and collected around the grommet.
I should be ok right? In the future I'll make sure to wipe the lid down and make sure it's dry prior to taking a peak at the beer.

The Starsan is no problem, you can drink it if you really wanted. The amount is so small that it is inconsequential.

Some people have had reverse siphons when using blow off tubes and had almost a gallon added to the beer and it was still drinkable.

I didn't think it was that big of a problem. Hell the day I put it on the bucket I over filled it and and about a tbsp went back in the bucket.
Only concern I had was that the small amount that went in when I popped the airlock off had been sitting on top of the lid for the past 5 days

Star San is mostly phosphoric acid. In high doses it'd be harmful but if properly diluted you are just fine.

Yeah, don't want to risk it. You may package the beer as normal and then ship to me for proper disposal. I have a licensed beer recycling unit on hand at all times.

I heard in a podcast that had John Palmer on it and he says. He fermented a beer that had two full cups of prepaired Star San in it and it turned out fine. I wouldn't worry at all.

Yup. With lots of cascade and simcoe in it!

Since you say Star-San is mostly phosphoric acid can I just use a acid/water mixture to sanitize with?
I work in food production and have tons of 75% phosphoric acid at my disposal

You understand that Texas is quite a large place and if I'm going to find this party I will need a cross street or landmark of some sorts. For testing purposes of course.
