Found these hops for relatively cheap. My first car was a 1988 Merkur Scorpio, so the name stood out. Decided to build a beer around them. I paired them with Bravo because they were cheap too. Added a little Munich to my usual IPA grain bill to further the "German" theme. Below is the recipe. Let me know what you think!

31.6 gallons

70 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) Grain 93.3 %

3 lbs Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L (60.0 SRM) Grain 4.0 %

2 lbs Munich Malt (9.0 SRM) Grain 2.7 %

2.00 oz Bravo [15.50 %] - Boil 60.0 min Hop 18.1 IBUs

1.00 oz Bravo [15.50 %] - Boil 30.0 min Hop 6.9 IBUs

1.00 oz Merkur [12.40 %] - Boil 20.0 min Hop 4.4 IBUs

1.50 oz Bravo [15.50 %] - Boil 15.0 min Hop 6.7 IBUs

1.50 oz Bravo [15.50 %] - Boil 10.0 min Hop 4.9 IBUs

1.50 oz Merkur [12.40 %] - Boil 10.0 min Hop 3.9 IBUs

3.00 oz Bravo [15.50 %] - Boil 5.0 min Hop 5.4 IBUs

3.00 oz Merkur [12.40 %] - Boil 5.0 min Hop 4.3 IBUs

6.00 oz Merkur [12.40 %] - Boil 0.0 min Hop 0.0 IBUs

Gravity, Alcohol Content and Color

Est Original Gravity: 1.062 SG Est Final Gravity: 1.013 SG Estimated Alcohol by Vol: 6.4 % Bitterness: 54.6 IBUs Est Color: 7.5 SRM

Anybody ever use these hops? There's very little info out there...
