In all seriousness, if you are short on funds, I recommend not buying premium. Use that money to brew (or pay bills or buy food) and just post here what you learned and help new brewers.

If you can swing it, than a membership is a good thing. I get so much out of this site that I feel paying a membership is the least I can do. It's not unheard of for people to pay for another person's membership. But it's usually due to a specific reason, or if the person is an obvious benefit to the forums. But it's a rare thing.

Yeah I think like may others here my hbt account should be locked after 11 at night on weekends. I was reading about stupid drunk purchases and someone made the comment about paying for peoples premium memberships and hoped someone may want to do that for me. Also I'm not that poor just strapped now cuz my crazy wife is planning a huge Disney vacation. So again I was just drunk and being stupid
